Reporting an error

Send it through the contact form and choose Correction or right of reply. Tell us which article, which sentence, and what the correct information is. If you can point to the document that shows it, we will get to an answer faster.

We read every one. You do not need to work for the organisation involved, and we do not require you to explain why you are asking.

How we fix things

  • Factual error. Corrected in the article itself, with a dated note at the foot of the story saying what the article previously said and what changed. We do not quietly edit a fact and leave the page looking as though it always read that way.
  • Missing context. The article is updated and the note explains what was added, where the omission changed how a reader would understand the story.
  • Typographical or link error. Fixed without a note, since nothing about the meaning changes.
  • Disputed interpretation. Where the facts are right but the subject disagrees with the reading, we append their response rather than change the analysis. Readers can then judge both.

Timing

A clear factual error is fixed as soon as it is confirmed. Where confirmation requires going back to a regulator, a filing or a company, it takes as long as that takes, and we will tell you it is in progress rather than leave you without an answer.

What we do not do

We do not remove accurate reporting because its subject would prefer it were not published, and we do not take stories down in exchange for anything. Where a legal obligation requires a change, the page will say that a change was made.

Record

Corrections are recorded on the article they affect, at the foot of the story, with the date. NorthwardAB began publishing in August 2026. No corrections have been issued yet; when they are, this page will link to each one.
